Objectives & Methods

Translation into and from Arabic is admittedly part of the broader picture of globalization, the ongoing process in which a language tends to gain recognition as a universal idiom of communication. ATN objectives are to transfer and aid the flow of knowledge to and from the Arab World. We have to admit that we are now lagging, not only in science and technology, but also in humanities, literature and most other fields due to lack of essential support and necessary research.

ATN written and/or translated publications are intended to contribute to bridging the knowledge gap and help the peoples and future generations of the MENA region to attempt to catch up with the world.

ATN's Network of Writers and Linguists

ATN has a network of over 100 tried and tested writers and translators worldwide. Our linguists, writers and translators are fluent in most languages. They are citizens and/or residents of most countries, including the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, almost all countries of the European Union, all Arab countries and a number of countries in Latin America and the Far East. Our Translation Manager Dr. Nabil Chaiban is also Director of the Institute for Arabization and Unification of Terminology (IAUT).

Our General Manager Ms. Eman Chaiban is also President, Arab Professional Translators Society, a not-for-profit pan-Arab association registered in Beirut, Lebanon. We have written and/or translated a large number of books, reports and other publications, including Chaiban Business Dictionary, AlBaraka Banking and Investment Dictionary, Arcapita Banking and Finance Dictionary and Chaiban Law Dictionary.
